I knit lap robes/throws for wheelchair patients. Have given them to nursing homes in the past but would like to donate them to soldiers. Have written to Walter Reed Army Hospital but haven’t heard from them. Need to know where these could be sent. Just started a couple of weeks ago so only have 10 made. Planned to knit them over the summer and send a bunch in the Fall. Would appreciate hearing from someone; are these needed? where to send them, etc.?
